Meet the Game Master

Rachel has been passionate about stories for as long as she can remember. From the time she was in middle school, she would come home from the library at least once a month with a new stack of books. She is also an avid consumer of video games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, and The Last of Us. Right after highschool, she became involved in two different Live Action Role Play (LARP) games based in the Atlanta area. She soon transitioned to a Plot Committee member on one until both games ended.

Tabletop roleplaying games were a natural fit for her passions. The small group she DM'd quickly grew until she had two separate groups and others still expressing interest.

It was obvious that there are many people in the Middle Tennessee area who would love to play Dungeons & Dragons, but just don’t know where to start.

Rachel’s desire to share her love of cooperative storytelling is what prompted her to begin Epic Escapades.

In addition to Epic Escapades, she has been an author on Tribality (https://www.tribality.com/) where she discusses tabletop gaming and tips for new DMs and players of Dungeons & Dragons.

She has also released content on the DMs Guild.
